Pottery Taster Days

Maximum of 4 people per day.

10.30am - 4.30pm

This is an immersive day suitable for complete beginners or those with a little experience; you will learn the basic principles of handbuilding with clay and how to apply varying decorative techniques and texture to make items such as a mug, vase or bowl. There may be an opportunity to try using the potter’s wheel during the afternoon if desired.

£90 per person which covers tuition, all materials and firing for up to 4 pieces, vegetarian lunch and refreshments. Please note that any allergies/preferences need to be stated at time of booking.

One to One Throwing Tuition

One person per 2 hour session.

Wednesday afternoons 2-4pm or Thursday evenings 6-8pm

Suitable for complete beginners or improvers.

Studio Sessions

Maximum of 4 people per session. One throwing wheel available.

Wednesdays 10-12 Noon

Time for those wishing to progress their skills further or work on ongoing projects. This is aimed at people who have already attended the taster day or the one to one throwing tuition as an opportunity to practise and improve.

£30 per person per session which includes firing and materials.
